MORE: Devoted 2023

You are invited to be our guest for Devoted 2023 where we will seek to be MORE devoted to Christ and less consumed with ourselves. We will consider the paradox “less is MORE” and discover how it applies to our walk with the Lord.

In an obscure book of the Bible and amid a long list of genealogies, we are introduced to a man named Jabez. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, “Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, ‘I gave birth to him in pain.’ Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, ‘Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.’ And God granted his request.”

Jabez wasn’t known for what he did, but instead, for what he prayed… a prayer for MORE: blessing, territory, power, and protection. How about you, do you want MORE… more of Christ and more out of your life? If your answer is yes, then join us for this spirit-filled community event.

The conference will be held in the CROSS Center at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church on Saturday, March 4 from 9am to 2pm. We will worship the Lord with Nashville Band, Chase & Co, led by singer/songwriters Brandon and Theresa Chase (formerly of I AM THEY). We also look forward to seeing how the Lord uses our guests, Jodie Berndt, author of the series Praying the Scriptures, Lynn Cowell, author and speaker with Proverbs 31 Ministries, and Kim Hardy, a professional speaker, author, and life coach, who will all be sharing what God has laid on their hearts.

Tickets will be offered at a discounted price of $25 from January 16 through January 31 and will then be listed at $30 until the conference date or until we sell out, whichever comes first. Your ticket will include your admission to the conference, a grab-and-go style breakfast, and, thanks to a generous donor, a box lunch from Jimmy John’s (ham & turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomato sandwich, a bag of chips, and a cookie).

The Devoted Conference offers something for everyone, from teens to mature adults and everyone in between. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to gather, in the name of Jesus, to worship Him with women of all ages, stages, and backgrounds.
