Frequently Asked Questions

We would like to share with you some answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Is there a fee to attend the conference in 2022?

Attendance is FREE. This year’s Devoted 2022: Girls Night Out is fully funded by Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church.

Why do I need to register?

While the conference is free, it is helpful to us as we plan the event and as we seek to minister to you before, during and after the night of worship. By registering and attending, you will automatically be entered to win any door prizes that will be given away throughout the evening.

Also, in the event that the event “sells out” and we run out of space, we will be offering our registered guests seating first, then any left over seating to those who have not registered.

Who can participate in this conference?

Anyone and everyone. You don’t need to be a member of Forks to participate. While the Devoted Conference is a ministry of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, we are passionate about bringing ladies of all ages, stages, and walks of life (including other church groups) together for the purpose of glorifying God. There is something for everyone, from teens to mature adults and everyone in between.

Who are this year's featured guests?

Brooke Robertson is a young, up and coming Christian recording artist whose music joins pop sensibilities and country soulfulness together with her pure vocal tone and heartfelt lyrics. Michelle Nietert is licensed professional counselor who specializes in the family counseling, including youth.

What is the topic?

Michelle Nietert will be speaking on the topic of her newly released book, Make Up Your Mind: Unlock your thoughts, transform your life. The scripture reference is Proverbs 4:23 (GNT) “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” Brooke Robertson will be sharing her personal testimony and how it has inspired her in her music.

Where is the conference held?

The conference is held at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church in Midway, KY. For 2022, our conference will be in the church sanctuary.

When does the conference start and end?

The conference will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Is childcare offered?

No, we are not able to offer childcare during Devoted.

When do the doors open?

We will be providing parking assistance and shuttle service starting at 6:00 pm. This service will also be available at the conclusion of the evening.

Will there be a photo opportunity?

Yes, a photographer will be available before and after the event to capture you and/or your group in a fun and memorable setting.

How should I dress?

Will there be food?

No, we will not be serving food this year. We have purposely scheduled the Girls Night Out later in the evening in order to allow time for you and/or your group to make a night of it by grabbing something for dinner before the event.

What should I bring?

All that is required is an expectant heart, open to a fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit. You may want to bring a pen and something to take notes on.

What is the deadline to register?

The last day to sign up is conference day, March 18, 2022. It is possible that we could fill up before that date, so we do recommend that you register for the conference as soon as you know you’re able to attend.

What can I expect from this experience?

We have been praying that you will experience an encounter with the Lord. We expect God to answer our prayers. There will be praise and worship, a spirit-filled speaker sharing a message of faith, hope, healing, love, and inspiration, as well as moments of fellowship and conversation with other women.

Will there be conference shirts and sweatshirts this year?

Yes! They are available now at
